White German model Martina Big who is making global headlines for for what she considers as transitioning into a black woman.

A few months ago, she wrote on her Facebook page:

“I have great news. I had done the next step in my transformation to a black woman. Yesterday I was with an African hairdresser and got a hair extension with curly, African hair. To become more and more a black woman, that is such a wonderful feeling. I’m so happy. Next, I’ll have consultations for the butt enlargement and for the African facial features.”

As Rolling Out reported, Big’s perception of Black women is clouded by stereotypes: big lips, big breasts, a big butt, and other “African facial features.”

“She’s only interested in fetishizing Black bodies without taking the time to fully understand what it means to exist as a dark-skinned person in this world,” the site notes.

And she confirmed her jaded reality during a recent appearance on Maury Povich’s “Social Sit-Down” segment. The longtime talk show host confronted Big about her obvious mental issues.

“Martina, do you think you’re a black person?” he asked. “Yes,” she replied quickly, “but 80 percent. I have to learn a lot. I know.”

Big wants you to know that she is not trolling people of color, nor is she trying to be offensive.

“No, I don’t want to attack them!” she said. “I know some feel attacked, but it’s not my intention to attack somebody, and it’s not media-attention stuff. I do it for myself.”

Naturally, Maury’s primarily black studio audience could not hold back their bewilderment at the sight.

“I am black. That is my race. I can’t wait to go to Africa because I hear the food is tasty,” she said.

Vlad TV notes that when she was younger, “Big wanted to look like Pamela Anderson, so she spent 10 years undergoing a ton of plastic surgery which left her with a new face, curvier figure, and cartoonishly large fake breasts.”

“Not satisfied with her new look, Big next took the controversial step of getting chemical injections which left her with dark skin.”

Appearing on Maury’s stage in a tight yellow gown and wearing a large dark wig along with a necklace that says “Black Girls Rock,” Maury read some of the statements Big made to his producers.

“It’s better to be black. The feeling inside is just happier!” reads one.
